This is a list of local garden nurseries where I like to shop:

If you're coming from Airline Hwy, go down Clearview, heading towards Veterans Hwy.  Pass up Veterans Hwy and W. Esplanade.  It's soon after W. Esplanade.  You turn right into the parking lot.

Charvet's is fast becoming a favorite.  They aren't cheap, but their plants are in good condition and they have the more unique variety.  If you have any questions, ask the gentleman, Scott, that works there.  He knows the plant characteristics and bugs, etc.  Very friendly staff and helpful.  They will even place an order for a particular plant if you are looking for it and it's not in stock.

Located on Veterans between Causeway and Bonnabel.  If coming from Clearview/Veterans, it will be on the right hand side soon after Causeway.

Perino's is an excellent nursery.  Everything is well cared for and they have a nice variety, though I find them to be a little more pricey than Charvet's.  And the service isn't quite as nice as Charvet's.

Go down Airline Hwy, take a right on Central (before Sam's).  Jefferson Feed is on the corner of Central and Jefferson - the parking lot is on Central, so you can turn into the parking lot from Central.

Plants are healthy and in good condition.  Helpful when you find someone who works in the garden area.   I wouldn't say the selection is the best, but what they have is healthy and well kept.

It's a distance to get there, take a right on Airline Hwy and just keep on going.  It will be on the left hand side.

My mother-in-law likes to go to The Plant Gallery for water lilies for her pond in her backyard (those lilies are stunning).  I can see why she likes going to this nursery - it's well stocked with a variety of plants, everything in excellent condition and so much to see.  The people are helpful and I'd like to go back there again.
